The Symes Family (Dawn, Shannon and Jaxson) would like to welcome you to our website! Bearded Collies
have been a part of our lives since 1994 when we welcomed "Miss Digger" into our family. She was the queen
of the roost and enjoyed her job. Our precious Digger left us in May of 2006.
In 1998 while living in Massachusetts, we decided one just wasn't enough. This
is when "Duncan" entered our lives. He was our first show beardie and was owner/handled to his championship at a young
age. And last but not least is "Anna", Ch Buckram's T Party at Beantown who joined the family in 2001. Anna
then gave us "Brody", Ch Aberlour's One In a Million. Brody is enjoying his fantastic start in the show ring and
we are having a blast with him.
In 2006 we welcomed a new addition to our breeding program. In September
of 2006 "Elsa", Ragtyme's Best Always for Aberlour, came into our family. Elsa has been shown only a few times
and has come home with a Specialty Best in Sweeps, a Major Win and now Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2007 BCCA National.
We are members of the Bearded Collie Club of America, The Bearded Collie Club of Canada, the Great Lakes
Bearded Collie Club(past Board Member), and previously the Minuteman Bearded Collie Club(previous Board Member).
Our goals as breeders of this beloved breed are clear; to produce happy, healthy, beautiful Bearded Collies
and place them in loving homes. To this end, we are committed to the following health screenings with normal to
above average results on any dog we are breeding and breeding to: CERF, Hips & Elbows OFA'd, Full Thyroid Panel.
In addition, we hope to be a resource for the families into which our puppies are placed throughout their lives.
