Highlights from 2013 & new 2014
Great year for Aberlour Bearded Collies. In April 2013, Red-Ch Aberlour's Secretariat won Winners Dog under Breeder/Judge
Maureen Betts-Pipadene to finish his Championship as his brother did the the year before and their mother did 2 years prior
to that. At the New Jersey shows in September, Red's son, Buckram's Let Him Run was Winners Dog under Breeder/Judge
Wendy Smith-Thymewinds. At the BCCA National Frankie's daughter Ch Aberlour's Odds on Favorite for Arranwood was Reserve Winners
for a 5point major and new Champion. And last but not least, Frankie (GCH Ch Aberour's Seabiscuit) and Eva(Ch Aberlour's Green
Acres) are the proud parents of 10, yes 10 puppies whelped on December 16th, 2013. Due to the size of the litter we
have 4 puppies still available.

I'm just a little behind in updating the web site. Had a wonderful BCCA National
Specialty in LA. First, our Frankie, Ch Aberlour's Seabiscuit was awarded Winners Dog and AOM #4. Frankie's Father Johnny,
GCH Wigglesworth Thriller was AOM#5 and Best Stud Dog with his son's Red, Aberlour's Secretariat and Frankie, Ch Aberlour's
Seabiscuit shown with him. Red was First in his Sweeps Class and Frankie placed in the same class. Thank you to Breeder
Judges Sue O'Brien and Susan Lybrand for all our awards and placements!
December 2012 - Thank you to my
friend, partner and co-breeder Sharon Ipser for finishing our Zsa Zsa, Ch Aberlour's Lovely To Look At. Zsa Zsa took
a hiatus to have a litter (well singleton as it turned out), she also took a back seat for a bit to her nephews Frankie and
Red during the last year. But now her Ch is complete and we await for her next season and hopefully a litter in the

Bearded Collies have been a part of our lives since 1994 when we welcomed "Miss
Digger" into our family. She was the queen of the roost and enjoyed her job. Our precious Digger
left us in May of 2006.
In 1998 while
living in Massachusetts, we decided one just wasn't enough. This is when "Duncan" entered our lives.
He was our first show beardie and was owner/handled to his championship at a young age. Duncan is a multiple group
placing Am/Can Champion that also has been awarded multiple AOM's and Best Veteran in Specialty.
"Anna", Ch Buckram's T Party at Beantown joined the family in 2001. Anna then gave us "Brody",
Ch Aberlour's One In a Million. Brody finished his Championship with all major wins as well as being awarded
Reserve Winners Dog at the BCCC 2006 Specialty.
In 2006, Anna gave us the last of 3 litters and in it was "Henry", Ch Aberlour's
Best of the Best. Henry finished his Ch in style by going WD/BOW for a 4 point major.
In December 2007, "Dee Dee" aka Wigglesworth Dynamite joined the Aberlour family. Dee Dee has received
multiple blue ribbons at specialties and has been awarded a Puppy Group first at an All Breed Show. Dee Dee is being
selectively shown at Specialties and all Breed Shows.
We are members of the Bearded Collie Club of America, The Bearded Collie Club of Canada, the Great Lakes
Bearded Collie Club(past Board Member), and previously the Minuteman Bearded Collie Club(previous Board Member).
Our goals as breeders of this beloved breed are clear; to produce happy, healthy, beautiful Bearded Collies
and place them in loving homes. To this end, we are committed to the following health screenings with normal to
above average results on any dog we are breeding and breeding to: CERF, Hips & Elbows OFA'd, Full Thyroid Panel.
In addition, we hope to be a resource for the families into which our puppies are placed throughout their lives.
